La La Falls, Victoria

Postby David M » Wed 10 Sep, 2014 5:15 pm

I just posted some YouTube videos of La La Falls, Warburton, VIC, Australia, in case anyone is interested.

This is a very short 1.6 km walk each way.

What did you shoot this one with? Does it have some kind of stabilisation thing that's making it keep going blurry?

Also, where do you start this walk from? Wouldn't mind doing it next time I'm up that way.

The car park for these falls is located on Old Warburton Rd. There are signs on Warburton Hwy pointing you in the right direction.

Here is a map and info on other walks in the area

No worries Neil. It's easier to get to the falls by going into Warburton rather than entering Old Warburton Rd from the Wesburn end. From memory the road you turn onto in Warburton is not actually called Old Warburton Rd as the map states. I think it's something like La La Rd or La La Falls Rd. It's right beside the CFA on the right hand side if you were coming from Lilydale. As I said there will be a road sign pointing you in the right direction.

Have done most of the tracks in the area, but not been to La La Falls lately. Thanks for the update on La La Falls.

Where was this photo taken dplanet? I know of a few other falls in the area but I don't recognize this one.

It is located northwest of La La Falls and near The Black Spur.

I assume this would be the spillway at Maroondah Reservoir at Healsville?

Thanks dplanet. I've never been there but it does look nice.

I don't consider it to be in the same area as La La Falls though. It is at least 30 minutes drive away.
