Mt Jagungal loop walk

Postby Happy Pirate » Thu 18 Dec, 2014 6:00 pm

I think I'm going to tackle the Round Mountain / Mt Jagungal / Valentines Falls circuit over xmas.
The 'Take a Walk' book lists it as a 4 day loop - I may walk into Cool Plain Hut site the first day and finish the loop in 4-5 days plus any extras (I've had some back problems this year and may need to take it easy).
Anyone know this circuit? Is it a good one to choose for someone new to Kos NP?
Any idea of current conditions?

Yep, a great intro to the area, and four days gives you plenty of time to explore and enjoy.
Say hello to the Big Jagged One for me, please. I rather miss it.

Will do.
As I'm missing Tas no doubt.
Will say hi to the flies too. They were fierce last weekend all of a sudden.
I'm hoping the storms may settle them....
