If going in just for the pegs I probably wouldn't do the whole range, just paddle up to the South Eldon, and do as quick a climb up to the summit camp as possible. Camp overnight and go back down.

I do stubborn quite well. You make it sound very easy, although I have a feeling it would take me 4 days to do what you do in 2
Last time I walked over 1000 mtrs elevation in a day I walked 10 steps and rested for 1 minute....10 steps, rest 1 minute.....repeat until it flattens out or I reach a peak. You would be in stitches of laughter after the first 4 hours
