Baw Baw to Walhalla winter trip

Hi folks,
Am planning BB to Wal this winter by ski /walk.Information re skiable portion of this trip would be appreciated.

Depending on snow levels you could ski to Mt Erica then walk down from there to Walhalla

There will be skiable snow down to about 1300-1400m in the morning. Afternoons will be sloppy. I wouldn't bother with skis as you'll be schlepping them most of the way.
Men wanted for hazardous journey. Low wages, bitter cold, long hours of complete darkness. Safe return doubtful.

Tend to agree. Also, steep narrow sections are fine for walking but impossible on skis. I'd take two stocks or walking poles.
