Its a pretty straight forward principal, and the large air movement would help with condensation over time. Pretty much like a built in snozzle.

Must say it seems impressive. A bit heavy - not much under a kg - but could be worse. But there's no R value on the website . . . just says 'non-insulated, perfect for any non-freezing conditions'.
