Good on ya Strider.
No judgement here, but this mug must have seemed to have some value to you to go to this effort. ( Seriously, I'm just curious).
What's it worth, and (now we know where it's owner lives) what is postage likely to cost.

It's a pretty much brand new STS Delta. I figured someone would be missing it, but if not I'd have myself a nice new mug!

Where does jwillson live?

Ah, had another thought.
This mug had inside it something valuable, didn't it? Perhaps a little stove?
C'mon, I need closure. :D

Edit: Crosed over there Strider, Sorry.
Woops, didn't notice the owner was in Tas.

(I'll let myself out-again)

I think it is brilliant that the mug and the owner were reunited through this forum. Now has anyone found my car keys?!

Haha, actually I did have a fairdown shirt but it was pink (well, purple, faded to pink) egyptian cotton, great shirt, please.. if anyone has seen it??.. I think the checkered shirt was actually Mountain Designs.

Anyhow.. Good result here but, for a number of reasons & most of the time, its going to be a better idea to just hand gear to the local parks office or even just inform someone if its something unusual (aka some other instances on here) and there is any possible way leaving gear might be planned.

Ha, yes, I find myself doing that on occasion..

A silk shirt you say? Any links to said shirts?

I did try silk thermals but couldn't risk the chance that someone else may see me like that :)
