Zpack Solplex tent

Postby Giddy_up » Tue 05 Jan, 2016 5:11 pm

Hi all,

Selling my Solplex. Very little use (2 nights) and it was made out of the heavier Cuben CF 11 or 1.1oz/per yard Cuben material.

Great one man shelter, just never sees use because of work commitments.

Looking for $800. Free postage in Australia.

Google "Zpacks solpex" - it's all there on the Zpacks site. I wasn't aware of the solpex, so had a look last night.

FWIW, my hexamid twin has been great, although care is required with the netting, however, I'm very happy with Cuben fiber as a tent material - I'd love a winter tunnel tent made out of it. Once pitched taut, it doesn't move.

Just thought I would post some pics. I got Zpack to put a zipper in the back mesh so I could use the rear vestibule for boots or an empty pack. Plenty of room in the vestibule and it's very sturdy in high winds. That's a full size down mat in there and a -10 EE Cuben quilt on top for reference.
