[SOLD] [ACT] MSR Whisperlite (for parts or can be serviced)

MSR Whisperlite fuel stove and parts as pictured for sale, worked perfectly for a long time up til the burner head rings wore away - stove now burns loud and red hot (but still does the job!)

Would be good for someone who is after individual parts, or can source for replacement burner head rings. Someone in the US seems to make a custom made one: https://wildogwyk.wordpress.com/2014/03 ... te-series/

Kit also includes replacement O-rings for the pump.

Pretty much any shop in Australia that sells MSR stoves can send it to MSR Australia for a service and the missing / burnt parts will be replaced as part of the process. This would be a better use of the resources than stripping it back for parts.

Ours goes in for a service about every 2 years. It's a bit like the axe that has 6 heads and 9 handles now.

I've considered the Sydney MSR repair route, but I'm soon moving for the tropics - won't have much foreseeable need for it. Would hate to see it collect layers of dust through the years
