Hi all,

Looking to upgrade my tent - am after something lightweight and 1p. Don't mind if trekking pole setup or not, but low weight is the priority.

What sort of weight are you after. I have got a Golite Shangrila 1 around 900 grams (from memory )that I haven’t got around to selling. After $120 posted anywhere in Oz.

Yeah, I have a few options too that some people might consider light (but others wouldn't...) - and any idea of budget?

Sorry should have specified if it's a trekking pole tent I think I'd prefer single trekking pole - I don't hike with poles so would be taking folding ones.

I will look into the Go Lite but I think would rather single pole.

Weight would prefer under 1kg - and budget up to $300.

The golite uses 2 trekking poles. There are a couple of clips on YouTube.

I have a Tarptent Contrail - not sure I'd call it an upgrade given that it is a few years old. It is however light - listed weight is 695 grams and is supported by a trekking pole. Feel free to PM me if you want more info.
