I was a bit surprised to see on NSWPWS that the Nadgee Wilderness walk is currently open. I assumed it would be all closed still after the fires (as most of the Vic side is). Has anyone walked it lately? Is it terribly burnt and depressing, or enough regrowth for it to be worthwhile?

Go here, near the bottom of the thread for a fairly recent (post fires) report. Huge amount of regrowth, many of the old camping areas are actually pretty overgrown. Lots of fresh water but with all the rain the ICOL's are all running and can be tricky to cross. Also, Mallacoota bar is open again.
