I am not sure you can get a 7 day forecast unless you are a registered user - best I can see is 4 days

http://www.bom.gov.au/weather/tas/forecasts/state.shtml

In their FAQ they state..

Where do I find forecasts for my area?

All forecasts can be found by selecting Weather & Warnings; State of interest; Forecasts. Then select your area of interest. 7-day outlooks can be found within the state forecast.

But that does not appear to be the case in Tasmania

best idea - don't. Use Weatherzone or something else. Snow Forecaast is good to , not just for snow.

I was going thru my weather page looking to update it, and I found something Very useful and VERY interesting!
Wish I had access to this when out in the wilderness...

Clicking on it should take you to THIS link.

You'll see other options above it for clouds, precipitation, temperature, pressure... Pretty cool!

http://www.bom.gov.au/tas/forecasts/map7day.shtml

and I understand that there will shortly be a forecast for individual huts on the Overland as well as data at 3km square gridpoints across the state. These already exist for NSW and Vic. Elders have a 30km grid and the only weather info from their site or Weatherzone that I trust is re-packaged from the BOM site anyway.

And since I've been using this http://www.bom.gov.au/australia/charts/ ... ndex.shtml and can plan the days around them, my walking partner thinks I am better than ever.

Seems BOM have got a new system, more like the snow forecast site http://www.bom.gov.au/forecasts/graphical/public/tas/
An improvement but I'd like to see a cloud forecast that included the height of cloud.
