Yes it’s Padstow. I thought Stein on the cafe door was enough clue but then I noticed the little sign on the door on the left says Padstow, Cornwall so it was a bit of a give away.

Some walking to get to this one
So some precision required - where was I?

Thanks eggs - I very much enjoyed identifying some landmarks in your photo then lining up sight lines on google earth to pinpoint the location. I’ll leave it out there for a bit to enable others to go through the same enjoyable sleuthing process. If there are no guesses within the next 24 hours I will have the answer ready.

That be Blair Castle, near Blair Atholl village in Perthshire. Hame of the said private army, the ceremonial Atholl Highlanders, under the command of the Duke of Atholl.
They have a pretty good pipe band too.

I don't know if you can still buy them here but a once popular brand of T shirt has the same name as this town.

It could be just about anywhere in England. But ... is it Oxford?
Fri 30 Sep, 2022 1:24 am
Indeed it is. From Boar's Hill.

Thanks Moses.
Still in the UK, what mountain is this?

Despite the quirky presentation, I'm surprised this hasn't been guessed. Anyway, this UK mountain has a flat summit cairn.

Correct, micmar22, your turn next.
For those who are puzzled, I have to admit that I was experimenting with AI-generated images. The first one was an image generated in response to the request "Kangaroos around a campfire in front of Ben Nevis". The second one was in response to the request "The summit of Ben Nevis as a stained glass window", and the third was "Bushwalkers at the summit cairn of Ben Nevis".
I wanted to see how convincing the AI images were, and I'm actually quite impressed. If anyone wants to try AI image generation for free you can do so by registering at
https://labs.openai.com/PS: The real summit cairn, with bushwalkers on top (me on the left), looks like this in winter.
