Pics to follow shortly when I work out how to post from an iOS device (or PM me think it’s easier that way)
It’s new (bought it earlier this year on a whim, unused and in mint condition
It’s made of 3 layer goretex equivalent
Pattern is reasonable for Australian bush
Has a Wide top to allow easy in out with gear on
Has a Large foot box so can use with boots on
Fits a large thermarest inside it without compressing the sleeping bag
No face net or side zipper
I used one of these extensively in the past before upgrading to an an expensive but delicate Bivi
Which I have to baby treat and use a ground sheet under; whereas with the old reliable service Bivi i had, I could just plonk it anywhere and jump into without a sheet underneath, until I eventually wore it out after a many years of frequent use on Aussie rivers and scrub. This looks similar.
When my event Bivi wears out I will go back to one of these, in the meantime clearing the closet
