Based on the the clues I suspect this might be somewhere on the Tasmanian Trail. Given the length of it though I'm not even sure where to begin.

Tasmanian Trail, yes. I was hoping someone on the forum had walked this particular sectioon as it's surprisingly pleasant but it would seem not. Though there aren't that many bits that are on old, narrow tracks like this.
This is from the Poatina Rd bypass, which runs from just below Mt Blackwood down to Parsons Creek (near Bracknell).

Throwing it open to whomever gets in first with a photo.

That is Mounty Picked-On, but I'm not on the Boiler plates. (Nor in the EA's)

I not at sirona, but there is a planetary lake just over the ridge on the right, about 300m from me.
