Powdered eggs

Postby alanoutgear » Sun 02 May, 2010 10:00 pm

I've been trying to buy some powdered eggs with no luck. Anyone know where I might be able to get them? We used them in the '60s and '70s (yes I know it was last century), and you could have scambled eggs, better pancakes, and lots of other nice stuff on the track.

I've bought some Orgran natural egg replacer up here at Coles, gluten/dairy/wheat free - from what I can make out it's potato starch and tapioca flour. This product is more for cooking as a binder - so pancakes are perfect, but scrambled is out of the question.
Gold is just a windy Kansas wheatfield, blue is just a Kansas summer sky...
