*tentative guess* Geikie?

You are in the right general area, I am not on the usual approach to this trig.

It doesn't look like anything else in the Tyndalls ... it's the wrong sort of rock for Eldons, etc ... it's not Owen or anything in the Frenchmans Group ... Sorell and Murchison are the only ones I can think of that have a ragged enough set of connecting ridges on that sort of rock and I'm fairly sure Sorell's trig was toppled years ago. That leaves Murchison.

Yes Murchison is correct, I was on the Western side having come from Lake Sandra.

Figures. I've done that route, but in the opposite direction. It looks a lot steeper from there to the trig than I recall.

looks a bit like Stacks from somewhere in the Midlands?

I had thought Western Bluff - but shifting thoughts to Clumner now.
Which might place someone on February Plains?

Neither Stacks nor Midlands.

It is Clumner. But I'm not on February Plains. There is zoom and cropping in this one.

I think that might be Nereus in front of Horizontal Hill ... depending on the amount of zoom, you could be on Inglis. Proteus is a vague possibility but it looks to be too far east to get that angle.
