Hi
Anyone have any new info on access or routes to Mt Stormont?

I have plans to check out the viability of this route but haven't gotten around to it yet. Maybe sometime next summer.
Access is possible through private property from Lake Gairdner, although prior permission is a must. At least one of the northern bushwalking clubs takes a group in this way on rare occasions.

I’ve been on this track a few times, used to ride motorbikes over from Smiths Plains at south Nietta, the river crossing down below the old mine is not a problem, knee deep at best.
