Thanks Nick. Still very very very very very very very jealous of your trip in there. Not just for the remote peak visiting either. The Orange bellied Parrots are amazing, I love the site at Melaleuca and would love to visit the one at the more remote Birchs inlet!
Ok, total stab in the dark without any cross referencing, and even recognizing you wouldn't be on the summit due to an obvious lack of altitude, how about somewhere near Black Bluff?
What's the name of that lookout you come to on the Cradle Mtn link road, the high point on the highway near the transmission lines where you have a walk that takes you to Black Bluff to the north and some interesting places to the south, the names of which I cannot get without some homework? Anyway, there...
I'm not on Mt Tor. There's not too many conglomerate peaks in NW Tasmania left to try... This feature has only appeared one other time in Where Am I. On that occasion they were standing on the eastern end facing east. I'm standing on the western end facing north. It's worth a point on the Peak Baggers Guide to Tasmania. I need to go there again as I ran out of time before reaching the summit.
