[FOR SALE] [SA] [Adelaide] Ideal bushwalking phone

Once an item is sold, found or thread is no longer needed we move it here. These maybe helpful for historic reasons.

[FOR SALE] [SA] [Adelaide] Ideal bushwalking phone

I have a Nokia N95 smartphone, 18 months old, in excellent condition, for sale at $150 ono (less than eBay) plus postage to all states

It is the ideal phone for bushwalking because it has:

Rechargeable Lithium Ion battery (carry a spare)
"Blue tick" for country use where reception is poor
Camera 5Mb Carl Zeiss lens, flash, HD video, geo tagged photos
High Res screen, which is less fragile than iPhone
voice activated dialling: great if your wearing gloves
GPS: works well with programs such as Sports Tracker
wifi in addition to NextG
FM and internet radio
Google search/Wikipedia
multi tasking
multimedia player if you like listening to music, with slideshow built-in

It comes with accessories such as video/audio out leads for TV, two charger, plus car charger and high capacity SD card and works with the full range of Nokia Symbian apps. There are no significant scratches as it has been carried in a belt pouch.

This phone was released several years ago and its features have only just been matched this year by other phones.

How long does the battery last when you are taking photos or GPS is active?

I get about 4 - 6 hours from a battery, when using the GPS and I carry a spare which costs about $40. If I'm only taking photos it lasts much longer.

Its great for mapping your route and seeing the geo tagged photos. Sports Tracker does a great job.
