Yes - I was lucky to view the pic when I did, it was an easy one, which was nice for me, I'm usually lucky to guess what state it's in (without reading what state it is in first of course). The next one's in Queensland and really easy since I won't be near a computer soon. What's the name of this much photographed water feature?

That would be the Natural Arch juju below Springbrook in the Numimbah valley. I was going to post that photo myself.

Just read you're not near the computer for a while juju, but I think we're OK to move on.
I'm just on the iPhone without photos so anyone can have a go.

That's it, my pic of it isn't as good as the others I've seen. I wonder if it is one of the most photographed water features in QLD.

I have just prepared this stitched photo, I thought it might be a bit harder but a search showed me it is very easy.

So I am going to make it a bit harder, Where am I and what is the name of the mountain in the distance on the right and for a bonus point what is the name of the flat top mountain in the distance on the left, this photo was taken in NSW. hint I am standing in front of a hut

Hi Anne,

Good try, the mountain on the right is Mt Jagungal, but the other one is not table Top and the hut is not Farm Ridge Hut, Farm Ridge Hut is not standing any more, the hut I am standing in front of is a very popular hut to visit.

Hi Gayet,

You are not correct about the huts, the hut I am standing in front of is much further west, but the name of the mountain to the left is has the same name as one of the hut suggestions (Round Mountain), as the guessing has been slow I will give another hint, I was looking east when I took the photo of Mt Jagungal.

Hi Tony,
If I'm correct, sorry to come in after everyone else has already done all the hard work. I'd say you're at Wheelers Hut (as stated looking east with distant views of Round Mountain and Mt Jagungal).

Hi John,

Yes you are correct, Wheelers Hut is one of the best huts in the KNP, it is certainly one of my favourites, I will be in the area next weekend.

BTW if you put 'hut' and 'view' into google images the first photo is Mt Jagungal from Wheelers Hut.

Your turn John.

Well done juju. Yes, it is Lake Cootapatamba near Mt Kosciuszko in KNP. You don't need to have been there to answer. There is some nice walking off the main tracks around there. Your turn...(when you're ready, good night :))

Here's the next one, NSW - we have huts up here too you know...and I'm really going to bed now.

Yes, nearby at Rawson Pass. Used to be porta loos there but a permanent facility had been tunnelled into the hillside last time I visited. It's relatively obtrusive and supposed to be environmentally a better outcome; waste was becoming a problem due to high visitation.

Your hut photo will need some research, off to bed now...

Yeah, waste is a bugger (will that word be deleted?) wouldn't it be great if we didn't have to do it - or eat for that matter, it would make for a lighter pack. Annoying to have to have a building in what should be left a natural environment but sometimes it ends up being better than having one big toilet... Now if someone could design one that isn't so obtrusive.

Shirley you're not serious. "Which NP" isn't all that exacting.
I know too little about NSW but when I see the water, the falls and that layered sandstone, i'm immediately drawn to think of Moreton NP. But that sandstone is characteristic of the entire Blue Mountains system, n'est-ce pas?
