OT hiking/camping companion for NOW(ish)

Postby DawnParks » Sat 26 Mar, 2011 1:19 pm

Hello:
I'm planning on starting the OT in the next couple of days and was wondering if anyone was looking for a hiking companion or if there were any parties that wouldn't mind taking on an extra hiker. I'll have my own equipment; I just know it'd be safer if I wasn't hiking alone. I'm a 28 yr old female in reasonable condition.

G'day Dawn Parks ,
If you don't get a reply from the Forum, from experience you will meet up with fellow Overlanders who will make you welcome, wanted and looked after as most folks doing it despite the "gung ho" from some blokes you will be in the same boat :) so relax and enjoy your experience.
Dont forget to let us know how you went and how many Mountains you scaled :)
