Still pretty tough - but I can suggest Howitt Spur - based on Big Hill being somewhat nearby

You should also answer wobblys suggestion - in case you missed it.
But I guess I can go with Staircase Spur - since it is in a similar area.

To keep this game going I think we should stop move on from this one, it has been four days since the photo was posted and no one is close, the rules say that after 24 hours clues should start flowing.

I think someone should post a new photo and maybe get back to this one latter when NNW comes back.

Well - unless the proxy was misleading us, the answer is either Helicopter Spur, Bogong or Bon Accord Hill.

So I will choose Helicopter Spur (to keep in the same area) - and someone esle can pick the other 2

Cant be bothered with it anymore..

Hi. You're it! Proxy for me, that is. (Please?) (Pretty Please? I'll give you a nice choccy bikky...)
It's from Long Spur, above Mulhauser Spur, having come down from Bossiaea Hill. All of which is west of Mt Bogong ('cause you don't know what any of those names mean, which kind of adds to the fun).
Ta. See you next week.

Well, that was a great looking picture.
I can find the 2 spurs up Bogong, but google seems to know nothing of Bossiaea Hill.

So another to restart - where am I in the NT?

Have you been there?
I know its a fairly common scene in advertising - Rainbow Valley it is.
We had a BBQ out there and the stars were so bright I could not recognise any constellations.
I was also advised that the water table was about a mile deep there - pity if you were lacking water.

Hi Eggs,

I have been there, lovely place, I had wanted to post the same photo but had not got around to scan one.

This next one is not in NSW or Qld or Victoria, but it is on the eastern side of Australia and it is not in Tasmania.

What is the name of the rock in the photo and what part of Australia is it in.

Thanks marangaroo86,

It was a wild guess as I do not know the area.

This next one is in NSW and what is the name of the peak in the middle of the photo.

Sorry not Hat Hill.

I am surprised this one has not been guessed yet, it is a well know peak.

A clue the NP that this Peak is in is south of Sydney, another clue could be the peak that can be seen on the right side behind the tree branch.

Hi Tony, I'm thinking it could be Mt Kembla. If not my next guess is Mt Keira. I've climbed both of these (well you can also drive up Keira) but, if I'm correct this is a different angle from what I'm used to seeing them.
