[TAS] Found - one Raichle boot, right foot only

Once an item is sold, found or thread is no longer needed we move it here. These maybe helpful for historic reasons.

[TAS] Found - one Raichle boot, right foot only

Postby shazcol » Fri 17 Jun, 2011 6:30 pm

Where: South Coast Bay, Western side of Coal Bluff at the start of the beach.

Found: Half way along the beach.

Condition: Excellent but missing laces and full of water.

Pickup: 2.5 hour walk from Cockle Creek!

The boot looks very new with little wear on the sole. Interested if somebody has a story to go with this boot?

If common sense is so common, why don't you see more of it?

Its was hard work, but I was slowing inching my way past the sleeping Dugite on the cliff face...3 days from the nearest road I couldnt get bitten out here, but I had to move on. My soul gave me no choice,...

Heres the story that goes with this right boot, for the remainder of the story the left boot must be presented (and the laces).
Thankyou and have a nice day.

Is that sole or soul?
Sorry no dugites in Tassie, maybe it was a Ludite?
The truth may never be known - the other one may be deep in a bog on the South Coast Track.
If only this boot could talk.....
medicinal purposes only of course

I believe it was retrieved from a sputnik in the Western Arthurs

Soul....
This boot has come from a far away place...called.....Western Australia......the home of the 'Legends of the Gods'.
It has floated the oceans currents and come to rest on the shores of the Tasweginous natives...awaiting its mate.

I've owned 3 pairs of Raichle (as many know) the best place for them is in a toilet IMO.
Nothing to see here.

no point putting them in a toilet, they will fall apart before they get there

Hehehe true. Quite true. I wore one pair straight out of the box, 4 days into a 5 day trip the stitching had come apart.
Nothing to see here.

Same thing happened to me with a pair I owned, they fell apart at the soles. Chunks where coming off, was told there was a fault in production with some models, the one I had look similar to the one you found on it's lonesome, they called it delamination. Faulty glue.

If it's a right boot it might have been racked from a store. No idea how it would end up there... looks like a Raichle Mt Trail.
