Mt Carrialoo - another of those things that jumps out at you from the map. Don't know about NE corner, but I lead a walk on 14/4/91 up the SE corner. Coming up from Jacks Corner Rd this was the closest. From memory it was easy. Went down the NW corner as described above. Followed base of cliff south then southeast. Can confirm no other routes. Down obvious ridge to SSE, then over Mt Moollattoo. Vegetation was also horrible then. Don't think there was a foot pad.
We encountered an old road in the second saddle (Bundanoon 2nd Ed. AMG 648,552). It disappeared into the scrub to the north below the saddle heading goodness knows where. The other (south) side of the road looked to contour off almost parallel to the top of the rising ridge heading west that we stayed on. Perhaps it joined up with the road on the map shown terminating at 632,547.
