Hi there,

I have a brand new set of RAB Latok eVent Salopette overpants in the bag with tags attached. I bought two pairs and my first are wearing really well.

They are size 36. I would let them go for $250 including postage which is half the retail price of $499 (see: http://www.bogong.com.au/rab-latok-salopettes-l-black-1.html ).

Feel free to let me know if interested via PM or email at contact@domainadmin.com.au

Cheers

I recently purchased some Berghaus Deluge pants for $99. I haven't tested them heaps yet, but they have good reviews and seem quite durable and breathable. Size L fits me and I'm around a size 36. Aside from those I know the Marmot PreCip pants can be picked up for around $100 - 120.

This is great info thank you Mr Fang! Ill be in to check out the Marmot as I can get them locally. Why did you get the Berghaus instead?

The berghaus ones seemed to be more durable and only weigh about 40g or so more than the PreCips. They also have buttons down the legs so that I can unzip them if I get too hot.

I have a set of large Aldi waterproof overpants. (INOC)

I bought them for off track Tassie walking so they are rather heavy but look tough enough to cope with scoparia.

They weigh around 800g but have full length zips and suspenders.

They have a decent 3 layer WPBM with tricot lining and are fully seam sealed.

I wasn't really planning on selling them but don't really need them until next summer (when I could also delegate my Mont Austral pants to off track walking instead).

I bought them for 70$ and am happy to sell them on at that price too.
Men wanted for hazardous journey. Low wages, bitter cold, long hours of complete darkness. Safe return doubtful.

I'm happy with my Berghaus pants, for the reasons you mentioned.

You will probably need to order from the UK, but postage can be cheaper and faster than our domestic.

As Picaro said, you will probably have to order online. I found mine in the local scout centre, but I've never seen any other berghaus gear in my area. Mountain Designs stock some stuff, but I don't think it is a huge range.
